Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) today praised the Obama Administration for signaling its commitment to helping restore the Salton Sea by including a request in the President’s 2014 budget that would support restoration efforts.

I recently joined Senator Dianne Feinstein and the bipartisan San Diego County Congressional delegation in writing to Navy Secretary Ray Mabus, urging him to recommend the posthumous award of the Medal of Honor to Marine Corps Sergeant Rafael Peralta.
