Washington, D.C.
– U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) today announced the following addition to her California staff:

Yvette Martinez will join Boxer’s office as a Deputy State Director and Senior Adviser, where she will help oversee operations of the Los Angeles, San Diego and Riverside offices and advise the Senator on key policy issues.

Martinez most recently served as a founding partner of Progressive Strategy Partners in Los Angeles and has advised campaigns including those of Alex Padilla for the California State Senate and Hilda Solis for Congress. After Solis’ successful election to Congress, Martinez served as her district chief of staff, where she led outreach on various environmental justice and open space issues in the San Gabriel Valley.
