Senator Boxer: Defending Benefits for Homeless Veterans

Today, I joined Senate colleagues and veterans advocates to denounce the reckless Republican budget proposal, which would eliminate housing assistance to 10,000 homeless veterans, leaving many of them on the streets.
California has the nation’s largest population of veterans – and the largest population of homeless veterans – so this budget proposal would have a devastating impact on the people of our state.
