Senator Boxer:  Protecting Veterans from Deceptive Marketing

Dear Friend:

This week I joined nine Senate colleagues to introduce the GI Bill Protection Act of 2012, which would permanently protect the phrase “GI Bill” in law to stop for-profit colleges and universities from misleadingly using this phrase in their marketing materials aimed at veterans.

We owe it to our veterans to ensure that they are getting the impartial information they need about their GI Bill education benefits.
