Senator Boxer: Flu Season Update
Friday, October 10, 2008
Dear Friend:
Flu season is approaching, and the Centers for Disease Control has new information about who should consider being immunized. At one time, flu shots were considered most important for our senior population. Increasingly, however, flu shots are also urged for younger children and for school-age youngsters. If you would like to learn more about who might benefit from being immunized, information is available at http://cdc.gov/Features/FLU/
As with any medical decision, you may benefit from discussing flu shots with your doctor.
Sincerely,
U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer
