I am very pleased and proud to let you know that I have authored a Senate bill to name San Diego’s Logan Avenue post office in honor of the great labor and civil rights leader Cesar Chavez. This bill, which I introduced in the Senate today on Cesar’s 82nd birthday, would name the postal facility at 2777 Logan Avenue the “Cesar E. Chavez Post Office.”
