As chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW), I recently held a full committee hearing on the need for transportation investment as Congress moves forward with the next highway, transit, and highway safety authorization.  The EPW Committee will write the Senate’s version of the new bill, which will be called MAP-21: Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century.
