Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa today spotlighted the Mayor’s “30/10” plan, which Los Angeles officials say would create 165,000 jobs over a decade by fast-tracking transportation investments.

At a hearing of the Environment and Public Works Committee, which Senator Boxer chairs, she stated her support of the “30/10” plan and vowed to work with Mayor Villaraigosa, the Senate and the U.S. Department of Transportation to find ways to accelerate transportation benefits in Los Angeles and across the nation.
